Dogsledding tours

Our beautiful Domaine la truite du Parc is located between the city and the boreal forest, only 30 minutes away from downtown Quebec city. Since July 2004, a new team is in place to share its passion for nature and dogs.

In winter we offer dogsledding tours, snowshoeing, ice fishing, winter survival courses and nights in our wonderful tipis. In summer we offer rustic camping in our riverside sites. You can also fish your meal in one of our replenished ponds. What is better than to cook your fresh catch on an open fire under a sea of stars? Campers can also enjoy our well known generous breakfasts and our meal of the day.

Parc de la Jacques-Cartier

Less than 30 minutes from North America's oldest French-speaking city lies Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. It features a remarkable landscape characterized by contrasts: mountainous uplands fractured by steep-sided valleys. A river winds through the most spectacular of them, the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier, a trench more than 550 m deep. It is calm in some spots and agitated in others. In the forest where yellow birch rubs shoulders with sugar maples and black spruce, nature inspires peace and respect. In the winter, the grandiose charm of this panorama does not go into hibernation! Dressed in its white mantle, it envelopes the area in the kind of magic that will leave you speechless. http://www.jacques-cartier.com/index.html
