When the night falls, hike (The mysteries of the night) or glide along in a rabaska-canoe (Rabaska at twilight or a meeting with the moon) uncover nightlife in the park. Wether or not you are afraid of the dark…come shed some light on this mystery!

Unguided Canoe-tour-package

in Jacques-Cartier-Park

 

On a quiet section of the river enjoy the pure air of the valley observing the surroundings. Like adventurers in the early days, see the islands and the forest pass you by as you peacefully glide downriver  in this splendid and natural scenery.

Schedule of the day

Meeting-point at the rental-center in the Park (km 10) at 1:30 pm

Departure on the river at 2pm, after the distribution of you equippement and the explanations of the safety-rules.

Canoeing on a run of 7 km on the Jacques-Cartier river

Shuttle-service to starting-point at 5:00 pm

Moose-observation-package

In Jacques-Cartier Park

 

In the company of a naturalist park warden, enjoy a thrilling experience at dawn or dusk! Set off to discover the moose, the king of our forests. Discover  the natural habitat of the wolf, the beaver, the black bear and the lynx, and admire the scenery of extraordinary beauty. Many surprises await you during your trek in the woods, so be on the lookout!

Interpretations and company of a park warden. Rabaska-canoe, paddles and life-jacket, transport inside the park. 

 

Depending of the animal observations, the activity can be up to 30 minutes longer. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure of the tour. Equippement required : Warm and waterproof boots,  polar, wind-blocker, tuque, foulard, mittains . Bring a snack. If you have : Binoculars, camera.
